When Deutsche Bahn's digital transformation team needed to build digital competencies across their organization, they turned to us for a scalable solution. Together, we designed, developed and iterated the DB Product Owner Dojo—a hybrid learning journey of training with real world cases and coaching for anchoring and learning on the job that delivered remarkable results across 75 employees annually.
The challenge: Deutsche Bahn needed to transform their digital capabilities while maintaining their commitment to SAFe frameworks and coordination across multiple concurrent projects and initiatives.
Our approach: We designed a multi-week learning journey with AI-enhanced product discovery tools, creating a safe space for teams to experiment with real-world challenges focused on UN sustainability goals. Our dedicated coaches provided ongoing support between sessions, helping participants apply their learning directly to their day-to-day work.
Results: Participants mastered essential product discovery tools, developed compelling value propositions, and experienced practical applications of design thinking, user story mapping, and lean experimentation—all while building an internal network of product experts. One participant noted, "Product Dojo gave us both the theory and practice to immediately improve our digital products."
By 2022, the program had expanded to include AI-powered continuous customer understanding, helping Deutsche Bahn accelerate their insights and decision-making while maintaining their human-centered approach.

Zalando's Innovation Lab "The Shuttle" and a very small group of internal coaches faced the challeng of establishing a customer-centric innovation culture and a product operations model across their rapidly growing organization.
The challenge: How to scale agile practices and innovation capabilities to hundreds of teams while maintaining consistency and quality.
Our approach: Using co-creation, the Back from the Room methodology and Lean Change principles, we designed multiple learning formats—from intensive workshops to self-directed learning paths—that empowered teams to own their transformation journey.
Results: Our action-oriented teaching style and deep expertise helped Zalando's internal coaches adopt new practices, using tools like Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Design in their daily work. The Shuttle team became equipped to map how they create value for the organization and launch a scalable learning program.

Kienbaum, a leading consulting firm, needed to integrate agile methodologies into their client services, ideation process, and sales approach.
The challenge: Help consultants apply agile frameworks to their unique context without losing the essence of agile values.
Our approach: Through co-design with stakeholders, we developed a custom two-day Agile Dojo that combined Scrum principles with design thinking and lean startup methods relevant to consulting work.
Results: The training equipped 40 consultants with tools they could immediately apply to client engagements. "What a great two-day session! Received many new insights on how to adapt agile to my daily work," said Alexander Hochgürtel. Our approach: We designed a three-day highly interactive Product Dojo learning incubator, combining hands-on exercises with real-world examples tailored to Swisscom's specific context.
Results: Product owners gained practical experience with agile and lean tools while building a network of peers and establishing a shared product culture. Bonprix, part of the Otto Group, wanted to integrate design thinking into their agile coaching practice to foster a more innovative culture.

Our approach: We created a Coach Dojo that taught not just design thinking methods but also how to facilitate these practices for others—using a learn-by-doing approach with real challenges.

The challenge: Forto, a leading digital freight forwarder, needed to strengthen its product organization's ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders—from development teams to executive leadership.
Our approach: We designed a tailored Product Communication Dojo consisting of three focused workshop sessions. Each built essential skills: communicating complex ideas, pitching to business stakeholders, and engaging development teams with customer problems.
